Greetings
Thank you for visiting the Hyogo WakuWakuKan.
We opened with the cooperation of the Hyogo Prefectural Government, municipal entities and participating companies on April 17, 2011, just after the Great East Japan Earthquake. Times were difficult then, but Hyogo Prefecture had also experienced the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, and so we decided to continue with the opening despite the challenges and show the world how Hyogo had stood back up and revitalized itself in order to help encourage the affected people.
Producers and manufacturers often wonder how they can promote their goods and businesses in the Tokyo Metropolitan Area and many have trouble knowing how to do so. We would like to help promote their products through our Hyogo WakuWakuKan with the hope that they can turn this opportunity into further progress.
Lastly, I would like to express my sincerest gratitude to everyone who works closely with our association and supports our activities. I wish to continue working with our supporters to promote the attractions of Hyogo Prefecture, and have the people who visit say, “This is Hyogo! ”
